Ben Franklin Press in Napa, California has a long-standing reputation for exemplary quality and customer service. That reputation has been built on the strong foundation laid by proprietors Dennis Franklin Patterson and Teri Ann Faychild when they first opened their doors in 1983.

At the time, little did Dennis and Teri know that they were creating what would someday be regarded as, not only the premier printing company in Napa Valley, but one of the best in all of Northern California as well. What they did know was that they were out of work. Dennis and Teri had both been employed at another print shop that abruptly went out of business. Armed with a 10 x 15 duplicator, $2000 obtained by refinancing Teri's Honda Civic and a lot of chutzpah the two set up shop in Napa.

In the beginning it was strictly a two-person show. Dennis handled printing and production while Teri managed customer service and client relations. The combination of Dennis' technical expertise and Teri's bubbly personality soon attracted many of the Napa Valley's leading wineries, as well as many other businesses in the area.

Dennis and Teri quickly realized that the local wine industry was in dire need of a high-quality printing company that specialized in label printing. The dynamic duo purchased foiling/embossing equipment and two types of die-cutting machines, PMC and Steel Rule, and, as they say, the rest is history.

Today, 21 years later, Ben Franklin Press employs 18 employees that are expert in their trade. With its knowledgeable staff, cutting-edge printing equipment, state-of-the-art technology and single-minded dedication to quality and innovation, Ben Franklin Press has been instrumental in the evolution of wine label printing and has firmly established itself as a renown industry leader.
